SIDstudio was involved with Zwarts and Jansma Architects in the competition for a new landmark at the Tweede Maasvlakte in Rotterdam.
The structural design of the 50 meter high tower is a 3D space frame with cylindrical steel profiles that are connected by casted steel spheres. The space frame is covered by PVC-polyester fabric which has an especially printed design that considers the Landmarks’ environment.
