The Liberty global building is located at Schiphol Amsterdam and is opened by revealing the company’s logo’s dropping a 12,5 by 7 meter PVC fabric.
The fabric was released by the use of magnets that where attached to Prolyte trusses. SIDstudio created a structural design to reduce the fabrics’ wind deflection and to ensure structural safety during the event. This was ensured by the use of cables, trusses and by utilizing the main structure of the building using temporary connections.
